Netflix recent views, because i knew you were dying to know

Another Country (Rupert Everett, Colin Firth)
The Panic in Needle Park (Al Pacino pre-Godfather)
Grown Ups (Adam Sandler, that guy from Mall Cop, sundry SNL alumni, Selma Hayek)
S21: The Khmer Rouge Killing Machine (heavy stuff but i read a large chunk of Pol Pot's biography, so i found this fascinating)
Claymore (awesome anime)
Network (just an awesome movie; i can't believe it took me this long to see it; faye dunaway is otherwordly, bill holden is so old and wrinkly-too much sun, i bet)

on a side-note, in my bathroom, a bulb that has been sputtering all day finally died.  it sounded like a mouse-sized whoopie cushion.

my book haven (built-in bookshelves, library ladder accessing yet more books in the loft area) is nearly complete.  it is going to be so super fun to unpack those boxes.  i'm not even facetious there.  i've always been a voracious reader, but since he died, I have somehow been unable to stay focused on a book.  i'm thinking that if i remind myself of all the books that i have and the shelves to accommodate yet more books, i will be inspired to read more.

time to shop for bookends.
